Clemson’s summer recruiting firestorm is burning hotter than ever, and now it’s blazing a trail deep into Texas.

On Wednesday afternoon, June 3, 2026, the Tigers landed a massive win as explosive 2027 defensive back Bryant Robinson pledged his future to Clemson, turning down a hard push from Texas Tech, Arizona, and Arizona State.

Robinson’s commitment is the seventh in just three days for Dabo Swinney and the Tigers, and the 15th in a jaw-dropping two-week stretch. Clemson’s 2027 class now boasts 22 verbal commits, keeping the Tigers locked in among the nation’s elite and showing the rest of college football that the Paw is here to stay in the Top 10.

Clearing Up the Vitruvian Metrics

As is often the case when the Tigers are on a recruiting heater, early reports had some mixed numbers, but the insiders have zeroed in on the real deal: Clemson just landed another difference-maker.

At 6-foot-3 and 190 pounds, Robinson out of Frisco Lone Star (TX) is the kind of long, physical corner every defensive coordinator dreams about. He’s a two-sport star with serious basketball hops, bringing elite quickness, a sky-high vertical, and the kind of ball skills that will make Death Valley roar when he locks down the boundary.

The Secondary Blueprint

Coach Mike Reed is building a monster in the Clemson secondary for 2027. With Robinson now on board as the second true boundary corner, the Tigers are stacking up length, speed, and versatility that will give ACC offenses nightmares.

Robinson already knows what Clemson is all about. He soaked in the atmosphere at the elite retreat in March and was in Death Valley for the electric LSU showdown last season, sealing the deal during this weekend’s star-studded official visit blitz.

Clemson 2027 Secondary Commits:

  • Jarrell Chandler (4-star Defensive Back)
  • Bryant Robinson (3-star Cornerback)
  • Christian Chancellor Jr. (3-star Cornerback)
  • Harrison Luke (3-star Safety)

An Unprecedented Summer Avalanche

Dabo’s relentless approach to the late-spring official visits is rewriting the Clemson recruiting record books. Fifteen commitments in just 14 days is a pace Tiger fans have never seen before.

By locking in top targets early and bringing them to campus before the summer chaos, Clemson is loading up the 2027 roster with elite talent on the edges. The Texas pipeline is wide open, and the Tigers are just getting started.
