Wiggins isn’t the only defensive back that is likely to leave for the NFL. This defense could be somewhat ravaged by departures this offseason is Wiggins, Trotter, Barrett, and Mukuba all declare for the draft. That’s on top of seniors like Ruke Orhorhoro and Tyler Davis.

Mukuba is a hybrid defensive back, who will likely end up as a nickel or a safety in the NFL. that’s a valuable position in the league and will make him a Day 2 or early Day 3 selection if he leaves Clemson.

So far this seaosn, Mukuba has made 37 tackles and four pass breakups. Swinney will almost certainly need to turn to the portal to replace the talent he’s losing on that side of the ball.
