Five Clemson football players who need more playing time the rest of the 2021 season

4. LB Jeremiah Trotter Jr.

We haven’t seen a ton of Jeremiah Trotter Jr. this year with the exception of special teams, but there’s a good chance we see some more of him down the stretch.

Trotter Jr. had five tackles and a sack against SC State earlier this season and something tells us Clemson will look to use him a bit more as we get down the stretch and the coaching staff begins to think a little more about depth-building for next season.

Trotter Jr. is the perfect example for what you want to see out of a linebacker.

He is big, fast and physical. He has done a good job– when called upon– at play recognition and the athleticism he possesses is going to make him a real asset over the course of his career.
