Miami Hurricanes

The next stop on the transfer train for Derion Kendrick might just be down in the South Beach.

The Miami Hurricanes have already added one cornerback transfer (Tyrique Stevenson from UGA) and there’s no doubt they’re going to continue to try and build that defense back up.

CanesWarning’s Alan Rubenstein wrote that adding Kendrick to the roster could make the Hurricanes an elite defense.

"“Kendrick would immediately become the top veteran player on the Miami football roster and give the Hurricanes an elite tandem at CB with recent Georgia transfer Tyrique Stevenson,” Rubenstein said."

Kendrick has that ‘flare’ in his game that just screams Miami in some ways. He’d be a starter right away and that would give him a chance to showcase his talents with a team that has a chance to make a little noise in the ACC Coastal Division.
