South Carolina Gamecocks

The top competition for Clemson football in Kendrick’s recruitment back in 2018 was in-state rival South Carolina.

The Gamecocks recruited Kendrick hard and even though there’s a new staff in place now down in Columbia, you’ve got to believe that South Carolina will at least reach out to Kendrick- a Rock Hill native.

South Carolina needs help all over the field and the secondary is no exception. While there are a couple of veteran returners, Kendrick would be the most talented player in that defensive backfield and he would have the opportunity to prove himself and gain film against SEC teams for a full season.

The whole point for hitting the transfer portal at this point is to find a place where he can right some of the wrongs on film, continue to develop and get the sour taste out of the mouths of many NFL scouts. These three schools give him a chance to do just that and still allow him to gain experience against Power-5 competition.
