The 2020 Clemson football recruiting class is one of the best in school history. Here are five takeaways from Early National Signing Day 2019.

The 2020 Clemson football recruiting class is considered one of the best in the nation, but it’s truly the best in school history.

The Tigers signed several high-profile recruits and did an excellent job of weeding through to pick out who their top targets were among many 4-stars across the country.

Here’s a look at five takeaways from Early National Signing Day 2019.

5. Tigers got their first choices

The first takeaway is the fact that Clemson football got its first choices. There were a few prospects who were at the top of the Tigers’ recruiting board and basically every single one chose Clemson.

5-star DL Bryan Bresee, DE Myles Murphy, QB DJ Uiagalelei, RB Demarkcus Bowman, DT Demonte Capehart and DB Fred Davis II were all extremely high on Clemson’s board from the start and the Tigers were able to land every single one of them.

Dabo Swinney and his coaching staff did an excellent job evaluating offensive line talent and looking at which offensive linemen across the country would fit the system the best.

This class was basically filled out before the 2019 season ever started and that’s a credit to the coaching staff for selecting their top targets and hitting on nearly every single one.
