Clemson Football: Master Schedule for Early National Signing Day 2019
How should Clemson football fans plan their Early National Signing Day? Here’s a look at the ‘Master Schedule’ specifically for the Tigers.
The 2020 Clemson football recruiting class is historic in terms of star-ratings.
The Tigers already have seven 5-stars committed and could potentially land another before it’s all said and done.
Not only will Clemson football land a historic class in terms of its program, the Tigers also have an opportunity to potentially finish with No. 1 overall class in the country.
Dabo Swinney and his coaching staff have done an excellent job assembling this class with potential stars and NFL talent at every position.
As we head into Early National Signing Day, here are a few notable times on the ‘Master Schedule’ Clemson football fans should be aware of during the day.
Remaining Target Announcements:
- 4-star DB Malcolm Greene (9:30 a.m.) *LSU commit*
- 5-star LB Justin Flowe (2 p.m. hour), ESPNU
- 5-star DE Jordan Burch (2:30 p.m.), ESPNU
4-star DB Malcolm Greene, though he’s an LSU commit, is strongly suspected to be de-committing from the Tigers and joining the Clemson Tigers on Early National Signing Day. Greene took an official visit to Clemson this past weekend and many insiders believe he’ll make the switch.
At this point, it looks as if Clemson has backed off of 5-star LB Justin Flowe. The Tigers were looking for a commitment from Flowe or confidence that he would be coming and they didn’t get that. Flowe will likely be choosing between USC and Oregon Wednesday afternoon.
5-star DE Jordan Burch is the prospect who has most perplexed insiders throughout his entire recruiting process. No one is reportedly out of the mix with Burch, but it does seem as if Georgia has surged to the top of his board.
If we were guessing, the pecking order likely goes like this: Georgia, LSU, South Carolina, Clemson and Alabama without much separation between the top-three schools and with the Tigers not too far behind. At this point, though, I wouldn’t expect Clemson football to add the talented 5-star.
