Will the 2020 Clemson football recruiting class add another prospect on Early National Signing Day? Here are our crystal ball predictions.

The 2020 Clemson football recruiting class is currently ranked No. 1 in the nation, according to the 247 Sports’ Composite Team Rankings.

The Tigers have already picked up commitments from the likes of star-studded talents including 5-star DL Bryan Bresee, 5-star DE Myles Murphy, 5-star QB DJ Uiagalelei, 5-star RB Demarkcus Bowman, 5-star DB Fred Davis, 5-star LB Trenton Simpson and 5-star DT Demonte Capehart, to name a few.

Dabo Swinney and Co. have done an excellent job picking up commitments and replenishing the roster as a result.

As we head into the Early National Signing Day, here are our crystal ball predictions for some of the top remaining targets in the 2020 cycle for Clemson football.

4-star WR Xzavier Henderson

We’ll begin our list with a prospect not expected to make a decision in the Early National Signing Period.

4-star WR Xzavier Henderson has been targeted for a while by the Tigers, but Clemson picked up two commitments from 4-star WR EJ Williams and 3-star WR Ajou Ajou earlier this year.

Though the Tigers still are likely holding a spot for Henderson, it doesn’t seem that he’s a top priority especially with some of the wide receiver talent in the 2021 class. Henderson is extremely fast and shows great footwork.

He’ll make his decision on January 4, but it seems that the Tigers have cooled off a bit on the prospect and Florida has heated up. This is especially true considering that Jeff Scott was his primary recruiter and now Scott will be headed to USF.
