5. Tua’s time on the field: 67.2 percent

Tua Tagovailoa, the starting quarterback for Alabama, played a total of 540 snaps in the regular season.

The Crimson Tide had 803 offensive snaps in the 2018 regular season, which totals out to Tagovailoa playing offense just 67.2 percent of the time.

That number goes down even more for other players that aren’t on the field full-time and are being subbed in and out around the quarterback.

It should be noted that Tagovailoa was injured during the season and played with a hurt ankle, but that didn’t affect his snap count during the regular season when the Tide were considered the ‘Greatest Team of All-Time.”
