The narrative that Clemson football beat Alabama because the Crimson Tide players were mentally fatigued is a flawed, false argument.

No one would’ve ever thought that Clemson football would still have ammunition pertaining to disrespect several months ago after beating the Alabama Crimson Tide 44-16.

The Tigers absolutely dominated the game from start-to-finish and proved that they were, without a doubt, the better team.

As SEC fans and analysts tend to do, they went away for a few weeks and came up with a brilliant cover story: Alabama was the better team, they just were fatigued.

This was built from what some of the Tide players said after the game, giving excuses for why the team was beaten down so badly, but SEC fans and media took it to a whole different level.

Instead of giving credit to the Clemson football program, fans of the conference wanted to excuse the loss by saying that Alabama had an unfair disadvantage because of the vaunted conference schedule they play.

Well, here are five stats that Alabama and SEC fans alike will not want to hear.
