Ingraham is relatively young being as though he is a rising junior. As such, he has ample time to develop more pass rushing skills and strength. Ingraham is clearly and elite athlete, however, that is not enough at the next level. Should Ingraham polish up his game, he will be an immediate contributor at the next level.
Outlook:
Ingraham has a ways to go before he will be stepping on a college field. For that reason it’s hard to project how he translates to the college level. At the moment, Ingraham reminds me of former Auburn great, Carl Lawson. The only difference between the two is their explosiveness. Lawson was much more explosive at that stage in his career than Ingraham.
Clemson has a chance to continue their strong history of defensive lineman should they land Braylen Ingraham in the 2019 recruiting class. With Xavier Thomas, Justin Mascoll and potentially K.J. Henry the Tigers could be set for the foreseeable future.
