Former Clemson football cornerback Adrian Baker is headed to Oklahoma State.
Baker was down to UCF, Houston, and Oklahoma State, and he made the decision tonight ahead of the projected May announcement.
After a promising 2015 campaign with two momentum changing interceptions versus South Carolina and FSU, and stepping into the National Championship game when Mackensie Alexander couldn’t continue, Baker appeared to be headed towards a starting spot opposite Cordrea Tankersley
But he suffered a torn ACL injury and missed spring ball along with the upper part of the 2016 season. Even though he was available later during the season, Baker never saw the field.

Coming back from such an injury mid season is tough to do in college football for any cornerback, and he never got comfortable enough to test the knee in game action. But the decision to transfer was a surprise to many fans especially since he looked to be a future starter.
When healthy, the Florida native is an athletic corner with excellent speed, and he is more than capable of locking down the receivers in the pass happy Big 12 conference. If he does well in Stillwater, then his dream of playing in the NFL will come true.
