Oct. 1st Louisville
Clemson is 2-0 all time versus Louisville and both wins came the last two years, after Louisville joined the ACC. Both games were the culprit of millions of lost fingernails as well. Close, close
games, last season on the road at Papa Johns Stadium the Tigers pulled out a 20-17 win.
The closest margin of victory for the Tigers all season.
And in 2014 the Tigers won at home, after Deshaun Watson broke a finger in a freak facemask incident, by a score of 23-17. The Cardinals are talented again this season, but probably not on the same level as the Tigers across the board.
Look for head coach Bobby Petrino to down play the home field advantage, like many coaches try to do. Clemson will be coming into this contest with a few extra days of rest, after playing Georgia Tech, in Atlanta on Sept. 22nd.
