Clemson Football: Sweet Home, Death Valley
By Ben Greeson
Sept. 17th SC State
This is the fourth meeting between the Tigers and the Bulldogs, and this game hasn’t been pretty
for the Bulldogs. In 2014 the Tigers rolled 73-7. 302 yards passing from Cole Stoudt, and a freshman you may have heard of, Deshaun Watson went 8-9 for 154 yards and 3 touchdowns.
Let’s be real, this is a money game for SC State. It’s how they fund their football program and they make the trek from Orangeburg, SC with the mindset of taking a beating for the greater good of the program.
The cool thing about these games for Tiger fans is seeing the young talent that usually gets plenty of playing time.
