Social media wasn't kind after Clemson's loss to Georgia
As you can imagine, Clemson is getting flamed on social media. The Tigers lost 34-3 to Georgia, producing only 188 yards of total offense.
In the first half, fans were impressed with the Tigers' defense. Georgia recorded only 160 yards in the first half and was held to just six points. However, Clemson couldn't hold on in the second half.
Cade Klubnik took most of the berating, though. He only recorded 142 yards and completed 62 percent of his passes, and after Clemson's staff praised his progress this summer, many felt nothing had changed.
And, of course, the calls for Dabo Swinney's job flooded in.

The first half looked like an Iowa game in Atlanta.
Both of these Georgia and Clemson fronts are dominating. Feels like the 2021 game so far where nobody could get anything going on offense at all.

I disagree with that completely. Clemson downfall is Dabo’s reluctance to utilize the portal and being stuck in the past. He’s had exactly 0 transfer players start a game since it began. That is not sustainable for a program in this time.

Dabo refuses to use transfer portal which means while other teams are filling in their talent gaps with experienced talent, Clemson is hoping players develop. Dabo has to stop being stubborn. You can win now AND develop younger players.
