If I could come up with the perfect CFP committee, then I could also come up with a nightmare committee. Here are thirteen people we should hope never make any important decisions for the playoffs.

This past week, I revealed the thirteen people who would be on my perfect College Football Playoff committee. It was just a bit of offseason fun, as most of the people named would have zero interest in serving on the committee.

Brainstorming for the list did make me realize that sometimes beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Some names would be perfect to some people while others would think the opposite.

This got me thinking: if I could put the perfect committee together, then I should also be able to put the worst possible committee ever assembled too.

Challenge accepted.

Again I began brainstorming and soon had more names than I needed. It was easy to come up with sports talk media personalities for this one, as more of them typically delve into the hot-take medium to get ratings than the thoughtful & thorough type of product from the people I put on the perfect committee.

On the perfect committee, I made the rule that it wouldn’t include any athletic directors, school presidents, or politicians because I personally believe none of those individuals typically have actual expertise. No such rule for this nightmare committee. Everyone is fair game.

Here is the worst possible College Football Playoff committee nightmare.
