Stanford is having success on the ground early against the Tiger. The Cardinal's quarterback, Ashton Daniels, has burned Clemson for 45 yards while running back Micah Ford has 58 yards.

Luckily, the Tigers have ended their drives with two red zone interceptions by Jeadyn Lukus and Avieon Terrell and a fumble on Stanford's first series. On the other hand, Clemson isn't allowing much in the passing game, holding Stanford to 41 yards. The problem, though, is that the luck will run out, and by then, the Tigers need to have it figured out.

The inverse is happening for Clemson's offense. Cade Klubnik had 127 yards passing, including a 70-yard bomb to Bryant Wesco Jr. He also has 35 yards on the ground and a touchdown. The rushing game is struggling a bit. Phil Mafah is averaging 1.8 yards per carry on four attempts.
