Adam Randall

The Clemson player with the most intriguing case in the combine is Adam Randall. It mainly has to do with the fact he changed positions so late in his career.

When you watch the tape, it's easy to see the potential is there for him to become a very good running back. He’s got good vision and elite acceleration at the second-level that helps him break long runs. He’s also got a great frame to run behind that gives him the power to break tackles.

The upside is there for Randall. The problem is how will scouts compare him to other prospects, who are more proven at the  position and have more production.

In his first full-season playing running back, Randall carried the ball 168 times for 814 yards and 10 touchdowns. He also put his wide receiver skills to use with 36 receptions for 254 yards and three touchdowns. Showing that versatility can be what helps him improve his stock at the combine.

As of now, Randall is likely to be an undrafted free agent. A great showing at the combine can put him on some teams’ radar. Continuing that with another good performance at the Clemson pro day in a few weeks, could help Randall get picked up in the late rounds by a team that sees his potential.
