Although the roster feels like it's fairly set for next season, Brad Brownell is still looking to improve Clemson basketball this offseason after losing nine guys to the portal and graduation.

There may be room for another guard or wing to improve the outlook for 2025-26.

Brownell has his sights set on one of the top overseas prospects who is garnering high major interest from the likes of Wisconsin, Texas, and Missouri along with Clemson, according to Joe

Elisèe Assui has drawn some serious interest from some of the top high-major teams in the country despite not having a ton of production behind his name. He played just 17.8 minutes per game, averaging 5.4 points and 3.0 rebounds while shooting nearly 50 percent from three on 30 attempts.

Plus, his 6-foot-5, 215-pound build makes him more than ready to compete at the high-major level of college basketball. Assui is the youngest player in his league which means he has plenty of potential.

With his size, it feels like Assui could slide into that shooting guard role for the Tigers if they were to land him this offseason. He could bolster the backcourt and give Clemson another scoring threat and a guy who can fill it up from long range.

Clemson has already added five transfers this offseason in Nick Davidson, Jake Wahlin, Carter Welling, RJ Godfrey, and Efrem Johnson to go along with a three-man incoming freshman class.

Landing a coveted international player like Assui would only boost the Tigers' chances of getting back near the top of the ACC again next season.
