Did you guys also forget that there's still hoops going on? OK, maybe that's just me trying to forget the end of the season, but Clemson basketball hasn't stopped working.
Even after that disappointing loss to McNeese, the Tigers have stayed busy.
Brad Brownell couldn't wait until the transfer portal opened on Monday because that meant he could work on next year's roster. He lost eight guys, including four transfers, since the season officially ended and that means only two players who saw the court this past season return and neither was a starter or even really a consistent contributor.
The toughest loss had to be Del Jones because it was so unexpected, but no longer getting the shooting from Jaeden Zackery and Chase Hunter will hurt.
Which is why Brownell has gone into the portal in search of sharpshooters.
Brownell offered Kam Craft from Miami (OH) who shoots around 44 percent from deep this weekend but he also contacted Wofford's Justin Bailey who shot over 46 percent from 3-point range.
Wofford transfer Justin Bailey (@JustinBailey_2_) has received interest from the following programs, he tells TPR:

Although Bailey averaged a career-worst 9.6 points per game this past season, he did shoot a career-best 46 percent from deep and led the Terriers to the NCAA Tournament after a 19-16 campaign that ended with a loss to Tennessee in the first round. He can fill it up from deep which is something Brownell is lookinh for after losing all of his shooters.
I don't see Bailey being a star here or even a starter, but having a sharpshooter like this coming off the bench would be a nice shot to the arm.
