Gideon Davidson

Gideon Davidson came into this season as one of the most exciting commits in the 2025 class. With the depth at running back depleted, many believed Davidson would make a huge impact early on.

It took a little bit of time for the freshman to earn the trust of the coaching staff. But, in the second half of the season he showed he’s ready to take on more of a load.

His first game with over 10 carries, Davidson rushed for 51 yards while averaging 4.3 yards per carry. Against Furman, Davidson averaged 7.4 yards per carry.

It’s just a matter of time before Davidson has his breakout game. The Pinstripe Bowl would be a great stage for it to happen. Davidson getting his first college touchdown in Yankee Stadium would be an amazing moment.

Adam Randall will be playing in the Bowl game in hopes to improve his draft stock. It will be up to Garrett Riley to find the most effective way to use both Randall and Davidson in order to win the game, and set both players up for success in 2026.
