Clemson Football receives commitment from offensive lineman Easton Ware
By John Chancey
Clemson Football received a verbal commitment for their Class of 2025 today.
Easton Ware announced that he will play for Coach Thomas Austin and the Tigers.
Ware attends Liberty Christian Academy and is a teammate of fellow commit Gideon Davidson.
Ware is a 6’-5” and 280-pound offensive tackle prospect from Lynchburg, Virginia. He is rated as a 3-star in the 247Sports Composite ranking.
Four experts had logged a Crystal Ball favoring Clemson. Ware listed his other top schools as Auburn, Baylor, Cincinnati, Duke, Michigan, Notre Dame, Oklahoma, Wake Forest, and Wisconsin.
Ware is a two-way player for Liberty, and his Hudl highlights include both sides of the ball. Offensively, he usually lines up at right tackle, but sometimes lines up at guard. He moves well for a player of his size and typically pancakes his opponent.
Defensively, he lines up at the end position, but typically rushes on the interior of the line, playing what appears to be 4-technique.

Before his announcement, Ware explained that coaching style would have a big impact on his choice.
"“It was definitely a big factor, meeting them and how I fit in with the coaching style. Every coach I met, the o-line coaches, I loved everything they were doing. They have different philosophies with how they want you to block.”"
Ware visited Duke when they hosted the Tigers on Labor Day and then visited Death Valley for the Tigers’ game against Florida State, which he attended with Davidson. Clemson’s recruitment of Davidson is what helped them learn about Ware early. All three commitments are on the offensive side of the line of scrimmage.
Ware becomes the third commit to join Clemson’s Class of 2025 following Davidson and quarterback Blake Hebert from Central Catholic High School in Lawrence, Massachusetts.
