Clemson Volleyball defeats Virginia 3-1 (24-26, 25-19, 29-27, 25-12): The Tigers win three straight sets after dropping the first to the Cavaliers.

Mckenna Slavik had 43 assists and three aces. Katie Hurta had 15 kills to lead the Tigers. Kennedy Wagner and Azyah Dailey also had double-digit kills. Wagner had a double-double with 16 digs.

The Tigers return to action Sunday at Pittsburgh.

Clemson Men’s Soccer 4, Louisville 0: Clemson United gets a shutout victory over a Top 25 team.

The game was a scoreless draw at halftime, but the Tigers exploded for four goals in the second half. Ousmane Sylla scored in the 53rd and 80th minute. Gael Gibert scored in the 67th minute and Alex Meinhard in the 84th.

The Tigers have a break before their next contest on 10/15 in Syracuse.

Barrett Carter is a quarterfinalist for Lott IMPACT Trophy

Clemson Football linebacker Barrett Carter has been named as one of sixteen quarterfinalists for the Lott IMPACT Trophy.

IMPACT stands for Integrity, Maturity, Performance, Academics, Community and Tenacity. The trophy is named for Ronnie Lott, a member of both the Pro and College Football Hall Of Fames. Lott was a star at USC and for several years in the NFL with the 49ers, Raiders and Jets.

Semifinalists will be named in November. Other notable quarterfinalists include Jared Verse from Florida State and Jordan Burch from Oregon.

2025 cornerback Dylan Lewis included Clemson in his Top 8 on Friday.
