While the Clemson football staff has not officially wrapped up the 2023 Class yet, they are well on their way to figuring out who wants to be a Tiger in the 2024 cycle.
To that end, Clemson’s Elite Junior Day is scheduled for January 28th and while one target is unsure if he’ll make it, plenty of others will be on hand.
Some of these names are, or will be, very familiar over the next several months and some are newer.
Likewise, Clemson has better chances with some, and smaller to 0 chances with others.
Getting recruits on campus is always important, especially for Clemson, but it won’t overcome everything with every recruit, some of who are looking for something different than what Clemson offers.
The list below is not exhaustive and I would certainly check back for updates as we move closer.
"Clemson’s Elite Junior Day is set for January 28. 2024 LB Sammy Brown, the Tigers’ top target a the position, has told All Clemson he is unsure if he will be able to make it to campus, as he has a high school wrestling tournament the same day. However, he also added that it’s possible he is still able to attend. Some other 2024 prospects set to attend:QB Walker WhiteRB David EziomumeWR Alex TaylorDL Malik BloctonDL Devin Brown-ShulerS KJ BoldenOL Blake FranksOL Josiah ThompsonTE Christian BentancurS Mike MatthewsCB Omilio ArgardCB Jalyn CrawfordLB CJ Jackson"
While we’re talking recruiting, here’s the latest wide receiver offer:

While it’s still relatively early in the evaluation process and Moore is listed as a 3-star, he reports offers from Alabama, Tennessee, Miami, Florida State and Oregon, among others, so make of that what you will.
I’ve said this before, but don’t let anyone tell you Clemson defensive linemen are busts in the NFL. We could point to Grady Jarrett or Christian Wilkins as prime examples, but the latest is Dexter Lawrence. H/T to Jason Priester of AllClemson.com for this tip.
Both Wilkins and Lawrence have had dominant seasons for NFL playoff teams.
Former Clemson football players will be front and center in almost every NFL Playoff game this weekend
Speaking of playoff teams, you can’t throw a rock without hitting a former Clemson Tiger in this week’s playoffs.
Almost every team has a Tiger or multiple Tigers on their team, though a couple are on injured reserve or the practice squad.
Jacksonville is the most prominent of course, because of Trevor and Travis, but at one time Tigers in the league were few and far in between and now they’re the norm and it’s harder to find a game where a Tiger is not playing a key role than one where they are.
