Yesterday the news came fast and furious for Clemson football players making decisions on their futures, be it heading to the NFL, retiring from football or returning to play in 2023 for the Tigers.

We’ve detailed multiple of those, including Myles Murphy, Trenton Simpson, Keith Maguire, Bryan Bresee and others.

It’s difficult to keep up with at times and I can’t recall an offseason with so many changes, so early in the offseason.

And we’re certainly not done yet as there are a couple of obvious ones still to come.

So, let’s summarize Thursday in a couple of tweets.

Also, another member of the defensive backfield announced his return.

Ngata would give up his remaining eligibility if he went through with playing in the NFLPA Collegiate Bowl, but as we saw with Sheridan Jones, you can accept the invitation, change your mind and return to school.

Clemson football has lost several defenders to the NFL Draft and still has two with decisions to make

Clemson’s defense could really use the return of Orhorhoro and Davis, as defensive lineman with of their caliber and experience don’t grow on trees, but the defensive backfield had a huge day.

Clemson Women’s Basketball is off to a good start in the 2022-2023 season, but they haven’t been able to compete with some of the best teams in the country and that was the case again Thursday as the fell to Florida State in Tallahassee by a score of 93-62.

Daish Bradford and Amari Robinson led the Tigers with 13 points apiece and Eno Inyang led Clemson with 11 rebounds.

Clemson drops to 11-5 overall and 2-2 in the ACC with the loss.

Coming off a 68-65 win over Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, the Clemson men take on Pittsburgh Saturday afternoon in the Steel City.

The Tigers are up to No. 55 in the KenPom.com ratings, with Pitt coming in at No. 63 and Pomeroy is projecting a 74-71 Panthers win, putting the probability at 58%.  ESPN also gives Pittsburgh a 58% chance of winning.

Pittsburgh and Clemson are the only two undefeated teams left in conference play, with both at 4-0 coming in.

Clemson has proven resilient over their first 15 games, even without Alex Hemenway for the last 3.

The game is scheduled for 4 p.m. eastern and will be televised on ESPN2.
