Clemson football: Vizzina ranks near top in Elite 11 competition

Clemson football quarterback commitment Christopher Vizzina had a great performance and stood out at this year’s Elite 11.

Clemson QB commit Christopher Vizzina (Birmingham, AL) was at the Elite 11 this past week. Vizzina showed why he is a 5 star recruit: he was very competitive all week long and stayed near the top of the rankings all week long.

It is thought that Vizzina had his best performance in day 2 of the camp (Pro Day workout).

Here’s what Sam Spiegelman had to say about Vizzina and his performance throughout the week:

"Much like Arnold, Vizzina showed well throughout the week on the Left Coast and was consistently a top performer at the various series of competitions. The Clemson commitment was extremely sharp in the Pro Day workout and again in 7-on-7 with the timing of his throws and ability to see the field and attack accordingly. Vizzina throws with an air of confidence and can rip it. He can squeeze throws into extremely tight windows and is a calculated risk-taker. Vizzina was among the most accurate passers all week."

Spiegelman has Vizzina ranked 4th of the 11 QBs.

247 Sports also ranked Vizzina 4th out of 11 as well. Here’s what they had to say about his performance this week:

"Vizzina was one of our favorite quarterbacks during today’s 7v7 action. He’s able to get the ball out early and understands timing and anticipation. It also helps to have a cannon for an arm and he can make throws that many other quarterbacks are capable of. He has a college body right now, a quiet confidence about him and he’s an ideal fit at Clemson, in terms of not just his talent but his makeup off the field as well."

2023 Clemson commit Chris Vizzina looks to continue the long line of elite quarterbacks in Tiger Town.

Vizzina showed out this week and proved that he is indeed one of the best upcoming QBs in the nation (not a surprise at all).

Past Clemson QBs who have also been to the Elite 11 in the past includes: Trevor Lawrence, Hunter Johnson, Cade Klubnik (MVP).
