4. Tyler Davis – Defensive Tackle, SR

  • 95 tackles
  • 16.5 tackles for loss
  • 10.0 sacks
  • 3 pass breakups
  • 2 fumble recoveries

There was a lot of speculation that Davis could leave early for the NFL after the 2021 season. The deadline came and went without an announcement either way from Davis.

Soon after, he was photographed with some of his teammates getting ready for classes, confirming he was returning for 2022. We aren’t sure how much thought he put into leaving early. There are differing opinions on Davis’s potential in the NFL, but there is one thing all the analysts agree on: he needs to stay healthy. If he can play a full year and repeat the production of his freshman season, he will be highly sought after.
