Five matchups we want to see for Clemson football in ‘The Alliance’

No. 3: Clemson vs. Oregon

Clemson vs. Oregon was a matchup that many dreamed about circa 2011-13 when both programs were known for their explosive offense.

Still, it’s a matchup that we all would love to see.

Getting to make a trip to Autzen Stadium would be something Clemson football fans wouldn’t soon forget and you’ve got to believe that Death Valley would be full with thousands on the outside when the Tigers welcomed Oregon to town.

Even if you went the route of a neutral-site game– perhaps somewhere in the middle– you’d still be talking about an enormous crowd.

Oregon, after falling off the map, has gradually worked its way back up. The Ducks aren’t CFB Playoff contenders yet, but they could be in the coming years if they continue to build through recruiting.
