1. Boston College (Saturday, October 2)

Boston College has the great misfortune of making the trip to Death Valley for a third-straight year.

The Eagles made the trip to Clemson in 2019 and suffered a 59-7 loss. Last year, the ACC completely changed its schedule format due to the pandemic and that led to Boston College drawing another trip to Death Valley. They led for much of the afternoon in D.J. Uiagalelei‘s first start, but ultimately fell short as the Tigers rallied back for a 34-28 victory.

Now, Boston College will have to make the trip again, but this time they bring their deepest team led by QB Phil Jurkovec.

This game has the potential for Tiger fans to see a top-25 matchup as Boston College could very well come into this one undefeated.

The Eagles have proven that they can compete if some things go wrong for Clemson football and they’ll be looking to put together a full four quarters this time after falling just short last year.

In addition to this being potentially the only top-25 home matchup of the season for Clemson, this is also Homecoming.

The floats on Bowman Field and the festivities that were canceled last year are set to return. They’ll be a pleasant sight to see and there’s no doubt Clemson football fans will have a little added appreciation for those festivities this year after not having them last fall.
