3. The questionable offensive line play

More prevalent in 2020 than inconsistent secondary play was weak offensive line play.

While the Tigers had a few outings where the offensive line showed up and played well, the overall tape from the season shows a unit that struggled to find an identity and never came close to finding a way to ‘out-physical’ its opponent.

It’s not just based on the Ohio State game, but that matchup against the Buckeyes was the culmination in what we had warned about all season as the offensive line continued to scrape by.

Dabo Swinney said he was impressed with his offensive line during the spring and the unit has reasons for optimism in terms of depth and added experience, but until we see it on the field, it has to remain a concern.

Just like the Tigers, Georgia possesses some elite talent on the defensive line and they’ll absolutely be looking to apply pressure on sophomore QB D.J. Uiagalelei in his third-career start and his first start collegiately in front of a capacity crowd.
