Injuries

The first- and most obvious- aspect in which we could see the Tigers come up short is if there were injuries.

Particularly, if an injury were to happen to D.J. Uiagalelei.

Clemson is deep at other positions, but the quarterback spot- as noted often by Clemson football fans- is simply not one of them. Uiagalelei is one of the best quarterbacks in the nation, but if something were to happen to him it would be extremely difficult to see the Tigers coming out as National Champions.

Of course, the time and extent of the injury would be the major factor.

If we were going to pinpoint one thing that could impede the Tigers from winning it all, it would be injuries. Last season, Clemson suffered several injuries- especially on the defensive side of the ball- and it set that team back. Hopefully this season will be another story.
