EA Sports College Football is returning and Clemson fans can’t hold back the tears

A massive bombshell was dropped Tuesday when it was announced that EA Sports College Football would be returning after years without a new game.

The last time an EA Sports College Football video game was made was back in 2013 and things have changed quite a bit since that point. New systems, upgrades in technology & graphics and new ideas have shaped the gaming world over the last decade. Yet, College Football fans had always held out hope that the popular NCAA Football franchise might somehow return to the market.

EA Sports posted on Twitter that ‘College Football is coming back.’ A new EA Sports College Football twitter account has been created and the plans are in the works for the popular game to return.

Clemson football fans can’t help but be joyous when thinking about the return of EA Sports College Football

The EA Sports College Football game will not currently focus on NIL (name, image & likeness) and, instead, the group has signed a deal with college licensing company CLC so that they have the rights to FBS programs and over 100 teams will be in the game, according to reports from ESPN.

EA Sports will move forward without rosters (as it had in the past) and said that they will be keeping an eye on NIL legislation for when it may become appropriate to add real-life players to the game. The CFB Playoff will be a part of the game.

At this point, there is no date for when the game will be available, but this is great news for all College Football fans who have been waiting to play as their favorite team, build a dynasty or create their own player and compete in a story mode.

It won’t be long before we see Death Valley back on the virtual screen again and that’s obviously something that will fill all of us with excitement when it happens.
