The Clemson football program has consistently stayed ahead of the curve when it’s come to recruiting and that will continue to be the case with the 2021 class.

The Tigers currently have the No. 5 overall class, according to 247 Sports’ Composite Team Rankings, and they are No. 1 in the ACC for yet another cycle.

There aren’t expected to be many surprises today as Clemson football has had most of these commitments together for a while and it will all mostly just be about seeing them officially sign those national letters of intent.

How many early enrollees?

At this point there are 11 early enrollees for sure with the potential for a couple more to be added to the group. Among that group of early enrollees are names like 5-star Will Shipley, 4-star  Jeremiah Trotter Jr., 4-star TE Jake Briningstool, 4-star WR Beaux Collins and 4-star DT Payton Page, just to name a few.

Is there anything left for this 2021 recruiting class?

There are now 18 signed letters of intent for this class and there is just one more name that the Tigers are waiting on: 5-star DE Korey Foreman.

When Swinney was addressing the 2021 class, he said that they may try to add a couple of walk-ons, but other than that they were pretty much done. There is still a spot for Foreman if he wants to join this class- he’s set to announce his decision in January- but at this point we’d still expect him to commit to Southern Cal when it’s all said and done, though you can never know for sure.
