Clemson Football: Final Score Prediction vs. Syracuse Orange
The Clemson football team is back in action this Saturday against the Syracuse Orange
The Clemson football team is set to take on the Syracuse Orange at noon this Saturday in Death Valley in a late-October ACC matchup.
The Tigers, who are undefeated on the season, are coming off an impressive 73-7 victory over the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets and now will be returning home looking to continue their winning ways and remain atop the ACC standings.
Syracuse, on the other hand, has had its fair share of struggles. The Orange lost their first two games of the season against North Carolina and Pittsburgh before finally picking up a win against Georgia Tech. They then went on to lose to Duke and are coming off a loss to the Liberty Flames.
Prediction & Analysis: Clemson football fans should expect the Tigers to dominate in this one
There’s no reason to expect anything other than domination from a Clemson football perspective.
The Tigers have two of the nation’s best players in their offensive backfield with Trevor Lawrence and Travis Etienne and the pieces around those guys are coming together nicely with players like Amari Rodgers, Cornell Powell, Braden Galloway and Davis Allen stepping up.
Defensively, Clemson possesses one of the most complete units in the nation and they’ll be looking to get after Syracuse second-string QB Rex Culpepper, who is filling in for an injury Tommy DeVito.
Syracuse also tries to run fast offensively and that could put their defense in plenty of bad situations if they’re unable to convert a few first downs.
The overall result? A big-time blowout.
Final Score Prediction: Clemson 56, Syracuse 10
I don’t think we see the Tigers hang 60 this week- though I could be wrong- because they’re likely going to be looking to get depth pieces in the game early, but they’ll still have a nice day and Syracuse might score a few points once the game has already been decided.
