Clemson football had its way with Georgia Tech on Saturday in Bobby Dodd Stadium

The Clemson football team hung more than 70 points on the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets Saturday afternoon in Bobby Dodd Stadium.

With the 73-7 victory, the Tigers improved to 4-0 on the season and continued to prove to the rest of the nation that they are the best team in the country without much question.

Clemson was complete in every form and facet of the game and that’s continuing to show Tiger Nation just how good this team is capable of becoming.

Honestly, Clemson football could’ve hung 100 points on Georgia Tech if it wanted to

There are some who complain about Clemson football ‘running up the score’ on Georgia Tech, but the truth of the matter is that the Tigers could’ve put up any number of points they wanted to against the Yellow Jackets if they so pleased.

There was just no contest on the field.

Clemson was better offensively, defensively and on special teams. The Tigers played a ton of players and they did an excellent job of building depth. The second-teamers were scoring on Georgia Tech’s first-stringers. The third-stringers were finding ways to move the ball down the field and score points. It was just one of those days.

As we continue to progress towards the CFB Playoff, we need to realize just how talented this Clemson football team is. The Tigers have the depth to compete for another ACC Championship and to get back to the playoff.

There are a few programs who may be able to challenge Clemson, but the fact is simple: The Tigers are the team to beat.

Next. Bobby Dodd no longer a house of horrors for Clemson. dark

Clemson will continue its 2020 season next Saturday as the Tigers return home to take on the Syracuse Orange.
