The giant has awaken

Coming into last week’s matchup against the Miami Hurricanes, Clemson had been able to be very vanilla on both offense and defense in their first three games.

Last week, the country finally got a little taste of what Clemson is capable of.

As we know, Coach Swinney wants his club to start playing their best football as they move into the championship phase of the season. While we have not reached that point just yet (middle of November-ish), they are entering their second phase and we will see that unfold on the field.

Players are starting to get comfortable in their roles and both Tony Elliott and Brent Venables will start to open up their playbooks and start incorporating more and more into their game plans.

There were lots of questions around Clemson football entering last week that have been answered but now the Tigers have to show that they can stay focused on the road with a noon kickoff against an opponent that they know they are better than.
