Trevor Lawrence and Travis Etienne

Very rarely does a program in college football have the best two players on the field.

However, Clemson football does in 2020 and that is something that cannot be argued. Every defense has to make a choice – a true Sophie’s choice. Sellout to stop Travis Etienne and the run game which leaves Trevor Lawrence to pick you apart or be determined to throw eight players in coverage in hopes of slowing down Lawrence and the passing game and get bludgeoned to death by Travis Etienne.

Roughly a dozen times in college football history have two or more teammates been invited to the Heisman Trophy presentation, but it will happen again in 2020 as both will receive enough votes to head to New York.

Georgia Tech’s strength is their secondary and they will be up for the challenge against Trevor but they don’t have the depth up front to stop Etienne and he will carry Clemson football to a victory Saturday night.
