Three Clemson football players we’d like to see improvements vs. The Citadel

The Clemson football team opened up the 2020 season with a convincing win over the Wake Forest Demon Deacons last Saturday night in Winston-Salem.

Following the win over Wake Forest, Clemson football will play its home opener against The Citadel Bulldogs this weekend in front of an expected crowd of about 19,000.

As we continue to prepare for the home-opener, here are three Clemson football players we’d like to see improvements from.

3. Frank Ladson Jr.

It’s understandable that there’s only one ball and a ton of play-makers, but we certainly didn’t see as much of Frank Ladson as we had hoped coming into the game last week.

Ladson had just one reception for 21 yards and dropped a touchdown in the end zone. This week, we’d really like to see the Tigers get him involved and give him more opportunities.

Ladson is a talented player and there’s no doubt that he’s going to be an intricate part of the offense this season, but we’d like to see him get those opportunities and bounce back from that drop from a week ago.
