Five Clemson football players we want to see a lot of against The Citadel

The Clemson football team improved to 1-0 with a season-opening victory against the Wake Forest Demon Deacons last weekend and they’ll be looking to do much of the same this time around.

The Tigers are currently preparing to take on The Citadel this weekend in Death Valley in front of about 19,000 Clemson football fans.

As we continue to get ready for the next match-up of the season, here’s a look at five Tigers we want to see a lot of during the game against The Citadel Bulldogs.

5. LaVonta Bentley

LaVonta Bentley played a ton of snaps during the Wake Forest game and made a solid impact. He came away with a big hit and looks to be much improved.

That being said, I want to see more of him as we get into the match-up with The Citadel.

Bentley could provide valuable depth to that Tiger front-seven, but he needs to prove that he’s ready to compete and able to make a major impact once he’s in the game on a week-to-week basis.

Bentley is going to be a special Clemson football player and it will be interesting watching how he performs against that Citadel rushing attack.
