Four historic milestones that Clemson football could reach during 2020 season
The Clemson football team has a chance to be special during the 2020 season and it all starts with the opener against the Wake Forest Demon Deacons.
The Tigers enter the fall as the No. 1-ranked team in the nation and there’s no doubt they are looking to avenge that loss to LSU in last year’s National Championship game.
Here’s a look at four historic milestones the Clemson football program could reach during this season.
4. Travis Etienne’s third ACC Player of the Year
There have only been a handful of players in the history of the conference to be named ACC Player of the Year twice. None have done it three times.
Etienne joined Steve Fuller as the only Clemson football player to win the honor in back-to-back seasons last year and now he could make history within the conference.
If Etienne is named the ACC Player of the Year in 2020, he’ll be the first player ever to win the award three times and he would’ve done it three times in a row.
