Both of these guys are Clemson football defenders with something to prove for those scouts at the next level.

James Skalski is an extremely physical linebacker, but he has to prove that he can consistently be a force at the next level. Derion Kendrick still has another year of eligibility, but the high demand for defensive backs could lead him to declare with a solid season.

Kendrick is a guy who will be tasked with becoming the No. 1 coverage option for the Tigers this season and we’ll get to quickly see what will happen. He has All-American potential and it will be interesting to see what both of these Tigers are able to do this season.
