4. Competition for viewership

College Football is going to be watched, that’s not the issue here. As a matter of fact, there may not be an issue at all, but only time would tell.

If College Football is played in the spring and all other things remain the same in 2021, the sport would be competing with the NBA (and its postseason), potentially the NFL, College Basketball and Major League Baseball.

Things can be streamed at much higher rates, but how would we see College Football Saturdays (in the spring) balanced with the other sports?

It would be a good problem to have, especially right now when we don’t have any sports, but it still would be another hurdle for the television networks and leagues to work out.
