Clemson Football: Six 5-star recruits the Tigers would love in 2021 cycle

1. Payton Page, DT

It’s been made abundantly clear that the Clemson football coaching staff wants 5-star DT Payton Page.

Page, a 6-foot-4, 360 pound interior defensive lineman, is the only DT that the Tigers are currently recruiting in this cycle.

It’s between Clemson and in-state school UNC for his services, at least at this current time.

Page expressed the desire to commit before his senior season began and that’s likely still the plan at this point.

He projects very similarly to Dexter Lawrence- only maybe a bit bigger and a little more powerful. That shows exactly why he is so high on the Tigers’ recruiting board.
