2. Will Shipley, RB

Clemson already has one commitment at running back in the 2021 class in 4-star Phil Mafah. They likely won’t take another unless it’s 5-star RB Will Shipley.

Shipley, a North Carolina native, is a different kind of running back.

In many ways, he projects a Christian McCaffrey with the potential to line up at different positions across the field and hurt the defense in a multitude of ways.

It’s between Clemson and Notre Dame for his services and, if you asked 10 different recruiting analysts, you’re likely to see a split 50/50 on who is currently leading.
