3. Myles Murphy, 5-star DE

Myles Murphy enters a defensive end room with plenty of talent, but only four returning scholarship players.

Xavier Thomas, K.J. Henry, Justin Foster and Justin Mascoll will all get plenty of playing time as veterans this season, but Murphy is going to have an opportunity to get on the field and likely will see time at both defensive end spots.

Murphy has shown elite-level explosiveness and the ability to set a hard-edge. Because of that, the coaching staff will work to get him as many reps as possible during the spring.
