Step 3: Big-Time Performance vs. Notre Dame

Every single player who goes on to win the award has a ‘Heisman moment.’

That moment doesn’t occur in the postseason when it matters most because the award is given out before CFB Playoff games are ever even played [don’t get me started], but instead it occurs on a big stage, typically in November.

Hello, Notre Dame.

Clemson will travel to South Bend to take on a Notre Dame team that could very well be ranked inside the top-10 in the nation- if everything goes right.

The Tigers and Irish will be featured heavily nationally and this will be considered ‘the chance’ for Lawrence to lock up his trip to New York and potentially bring home the Heisman.
