3. James Skalski

James Skalski came to Clemson as a 3-star prospect who was ranked 680th nationally and the No. 44 OLB in the country.

After years of perseverance, Skalski stepped into a starting role in 2019 and absolutely delivered.

He showed athleticism and physicality, finishing the year 105 tackles (second on the team) and 4.5 sacks.

Skalski was one of the most underappreciated players in the country when award time came around as he was left off the All-ACC team, but make no mistake about it: He was All-Conference worthy.

Skalski has grown into a leader and an intriguing NFL prospect at that linebacker position.
