The 2021 Clemson football recruiting class is set to be one of the top in school history and much of that has to do with 5-star DE Korey Foreman.

The Clemson football program continues to recruit at a high level and that’s evident through the past two recruiting cycles.

The Tigers picked up a commitment from 5-star DE Korey Foreman- the nation’s No. 1 overall player- just a couple of weeks ago, which moved them into the No. 1 spot for the 2021 recruiting class.

Foreman, a 6-foot-4, 265 pound defensive end from Corona, California, isn’t just considered one of the greatest recruits in this current cycle, but one of the highest-rated recruits to ever sign with Clemson football.

According to 247 Sports’ player ratings, here’s a look at the top 10 prospects to ever sign with the Tigers along with their overall rating. (All of these players are 5-stars).

  1. QB Trevor Lawrence (0.9999)
  2. DE Da’Quan Bowers (0.9997)
  3. DE Korey Foreman (0.9996)
  4. DL Bryan Bresee (0.9995)
  5. DT Dexter Lawrence (0.9992)
  6. DE Xavier Thomas (0.9988)
  7. WR Roscoe Crosby (0.9978)
  8. DE Myles Murphy (0.9965)
  9. QB D.J. Uiagalelei (0.9949)
  10. DE K.J. Henry (0.9928)

Thoughts:

The crazy thing about this list is the fact that six of the top-10 recruits to ever sign with Clemson are on campus right now.

Lawrence, Bresee, Thomas, Murphy, Uiagalelei and Henry will all suit up together this season. Though Lawrence and Thomas are likely to declare early for the NFL Draft after this season, Foreman will join the rest of these talented players next season.

In terms of ratings, Foreman is about as good as they come. He’s highly rated because of that elite explosive ability and could prove to be one of the best pass-rushers to ever play at Clemson. He’s simply that good.

Next. A Clemson offer means more than any SEC offer. dark

Dabo Swinney is recruiting at a high level and there’s no doubt that the Tigers are going to continue to compete in the future because of the talent they’re bringing into the program.
