Clemson Football: 5 Tigers with something to prove in 2020 offseason
The 2019 Clemson football season didn’t end the way the Tigers wanted it to. Here are five Tigers with something to prove heading into the offseason.
The Clemson football program will be looking to get back to the National Championship game in 2020, but that will all start with the work put in during winter, spring and summer workouts.
The Tigers are considered the odds-on favorite to make it back to the CFB Playoff and are the consensus No. 1 team in the nation at this point.
Though there is plenty of talent returning and expectations are through the roof, there are several Clemson football players who have something to prove heading into the 2020 offseason.
5. Braden Galloway
Braden Galloway was only available for the final two games in the CFB Playoff after serving a suspension that lasted the entire regular season.
Galloway is now back for his junior year and will be relied upon more than ever before.
He looked good in that match-up against LSU as one of the leading receivers, but I’d be willing to bet that Galloway is coming into this season with a purpose.
A stellar year could allow him to leave school early and be one of the top tight ends taken in the 2021 NFL Draft. He’ll be working hard to show just what he is capable of, and that all begins with the offseason.
