5. Sugar Bowl: Georgia vs. Baylor

The Sugar Bowl, set for New Year’s Day at 8:45 p.m. will see the runner-up in the SEC take on the runner-up of the Big 12.

Both Georgia and Baylor conceivably had paths to the CFB Playoff heading into conference championship weekend, but neither could get the job done.

The result? They’ll take on each other in the Sugar Bowl.

Both teams seem more focused than what many programs are heading into a game of this magnitude and it should be fun to watch Baylor’s spread offense go up against Georgia’s dominant defense.
